
I'm Ilona, or as my friends like to call me, Ilonski. After years in Hospitality Management, my life focus shifted and I knew I needed a change.I found myself curating tons of gifts at one point in 2019 and I thought why not try to turn my creativity into a business? And the rest is history!
When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my 5 year old son, Dominik, enjoying a home made meal and kicking it back on the couch. (Though the thoughts of the running to-do list for the business never stop!)
Launched in 2019, Silk + Twine Gift Co was born on a dining room table, full of random ribbons and a handful of retail products. Though the gift boxes were originally intended for new moms and their newborns, it quickly transformed into gifting for all occasions. After all, our clients have so many things to celebrate in their lives!
Two years in and we have helped hundreds of clients with their personal gifting needs, sent thousands of corporate gifts out, and tied (what feels like a million) bows!

Being a women owned, self-funded company, we strive to support other women entrepreneurs across North America. 95% of the brands we carry are made by women and ran by women.

Sustainability.
Sustainablity is such an important factor for our team. We limit the use of single use plastics, work with bio-degradable and recyclable materials, and offer keepsake gift boxes (which are meant to be reused!)

Small Batch Products.
High-quality is what makes a product desirable. Big brands often miss this mark, which is why working with small batch businesses is the best. The attention and care is unlike any other.
